Fall 'Daise'
We appreciate the last flower blast of the season by planting bulbs and planning winter parties!
Summer has faded to fall and we are wistfully watching the last blooms of the year. As we move toward the the big chill of winter, we turn to the next best thing to flowers: Food and parties.
In this October issue we share a new recipe from Chef Perrin who is not ready to give up on those overly ripened tomatos falling off the vine.
We introduce you to Kate Landers who can transform a birthday party into a fairy tale.
And we want you to meet Mark Flaherty--- the Man behind the Scituate Farmer's Market. There's been plenty of ink on the success of the market, but never a mention of this really cool guy who got it all started, and who quietly (despite his very loud voice) contributes to this community.
We also have tips on what to plant this season to get ready for spring flowers; more financial advice from Barbara; a doggone Hot Topic from Emily; and a new twisted story from Diane.
Enjoy!!!!
And, please, pass our link along to your friends, join our community, and tell us what you think. We want to hear from you--- and about you. What's your story??
Cheers!
